  • Where is The 'Quin House located?

    The ‘Quin House is located at 217 Commonwealth Avenue (the former and historic Algonquin Club), a beautiful McKim, Mead and White-designed, 56,000 square foot building in the heart of Back Bay.

  • When did The 'Quin House Open?

    The ‘Quin House opened July 7, 2021.

  • What does the clubhouse offer?

    It starts with our incredible group of members, and it continues with four dining venues, three bars, five lounges, eight guestrooms, a rooftop deck, a world-class fitness and wellness center, and complete with well-designed, functional event spaces. There is also wide-ranging and imaginative programming to engage the membership community across many dimensions.

  • What kind of events does The 'Quin host?

    The ‘Quin House programming caters to our members needs and wishes. We host leading speakers, exciting and unique social events, wellness activities and opportunities to connect with members regularly. As a member you can also host corporate gatherings, as well as private parties for you and your guests.

  • How is The 'Quin House making an impact, and how are members involved?

    The ‘Quin House Impact Fund, serves as the basis for the club giving and impact. Members are encouraged to get involved in our philanthropic opportunities.

  • How do I join The 'Quin Social Club?

    Currently invitations to join are via current member referrals. To inquire further about membership at The ‘Quin House, please contact hello@thequin.com.

  • What is specifically included in Membership?

    ‘Quin Membership specifically includes access to our dining and drinking facilities, and special events such as speakers, book talks and culinary events. Additionally, you have access to our event spaces, fitness & wellness center, valet parking, guest rooms and reciprocal clubs nationally as well as around the globe.

  • Can my partner or spouse join The 'Quin House with me?

    Absolutely and we encourage you to include them on your information submission.

  • Is there a membership contract length?

    A ‘Quin membership is renewed on a yearly basis, with a one time initiation fee.

  • What is the Arts, Civic, Non-Profit membership?

    The ‘Quin values those making a positive impact in the community in these fields. Therefore, we offer significantly discounted pricing to a select number of applicants who would otherwise be unable to join. Special pricing extends for a two-year basis and may be renewed. If you believe you fall into this category and would like to be considered for the ACNP Membership, please contact The Membership Team for further details.

  • How do I qualify for Non-Resident membership?

    Non-resident members are qualified as working and living outside of a 50-mile radius of Boston. Our Non-resident membership is an affordable membership option considering the need for travel.

  • Are there corporate memberships?

    The Quin currently does not have a Corporate Membership plan. However we encourage you to contact The Membership Team for a specific corporate requests.

  • Can I bring my children to the club?

    The ‘Quin is a club for adults 21 and over. Children ages sixteen (16) and older may accompany their parents as guests for meals at any time and are permitted to stay in the overnight guestrooms as long as the parent is also staying. Children over the age of 6 shall be allowed during specific family programming and weekend brunch in Café Q. Members’ children under the age of twenty-one (21) may only be on the Premises when accompanied by their parent. Members are responsible for the behavior of their children. Certain areas of the Premises may be restricted for anyone under the age of twenty-one (21), regardless of whether they are with their parent(s).
